Gloomy sky on Sunday. Hence, the weather was really nice to take a stroll at the beach. Took a drive to Port Dickson.
We picked seashells, sat by the beach listening to the sea waves. We also spotted plenty of baby crabs.
However we couldn’t stay long, it starting to get hot as it approaching 11am.
We shall proceed to brunch. Recently found out about this kopitiam when someone shared it on social media. Otherwise I wouldn’t know what to eat during the day in Port Dickson, other than fast food.
PD Fung Hai Kopitiam is a Hainanese Kopitiam located at Port Dickson town. Few doors away from Public Bank. I want to give it a try because I love Hainan Chicken Chop. 🙂
The kopitiam was crowded upon our arrival. Luckily managed to get a vacant table as the previous customer has settled and about to leave.
A lady came over to take our order. She informed us that, Hainan Chicken Chop require some waiting time. I saw some customers eating half way, some were still waiting for their food to arrive.
Charcoal Grill Bread (Roti Bakar) came first to fill our tummy.
Sandwiched in between was kaya spread and a slice of butter. It was nice and old-skool.
I ordered a cuppa Milk Tea (Teh Susu) while the rest ordered Ice Lemon Tea. The Ice Lemon Tea was good.
Mee Hailam came before the rest.
We ordered 2 plates of Hainan Chicken Chop.
Fried de-boned chicken thigh then drenched in brown onion gravy, fried potatoes, tomatoes and peas. Meat was juicy and tender. While the gravy tasted good as well. I felt it was worth the wait. We enjoyed eating this Hainan Chicken Chop. Moreover I like that they served it with lots of gravy! 😀
Singapore Fried Mee Hoon may not look good in appearance. Furthermore it look lumpy. But has the ‘wok hei’ and tastiness is there.
Verdict : We waited quite sometime for the food to arrive. I think the kitchen could not manage big volume. Be prepare for the waiting time especially on weekends. However the food was good. Total bill came to RM47.

Came today wanting to try but realised that the shop has closed down.
