Brunch @Coffee & Dreams, Seremban 2

I am not a heavy coffee drinker. But I love the fact that there are more coffee joints opened in Seremban 2. Currently there are 4 (did I miss out any?). 4 is definitely a small number compared to KL. Anyhow…quality is more important than quantity right? hehe….

I’ve just visited Coffee & Dreams located at Uptown Avenue, Seremban 2. The so-called happening place in Seremban 2 with restaurants and pubs.

I enjoyed having a cuppa aromatic coffee in a cosy environment.

“A coffee a day keeps the doctor away”

Lets see if Coffee & Dreams is ‘my cup of tea’.

Cakes, muffins, pudding and pastries are served here.

I also like the quiet and calm environment when I was there. Service was not bad too.

Selections of ‘hot drinks’ on their menu.

The current on going promotion for breakfast, lunch and tea time which I thought its a good deal.

The free glass of watermelon juice upon ordering lunch from their on going promotion.

Chocolate Mint

Full Spaghetti with Ham – RM15.90

The spaghetti bolognese was alright but not memorable.

Chicken Chop

Skinless and boneless chicken chop was grilled to perfection and drizzled with fragrant black pepper sauce. Alongside with some greens. The chicken meat was tender and also tasty. Quite good.

I wanted to try their waffle. Therefore I went for original flavor;

Butter & Syrup Waffle – RM6.90

The waffle turn out to be quite nice. Not dry but fluffy.

Mille Crepe (Vanilla). There were actually few other flavors…but I chose to try the original flavor. Want to try the originality ma… hehe.. Unfortunately I felt that their mille crepe was just average. Too much cream I felt. A nice mille crepe shouldn’t look collapsing, right?

This “I dunno what name” chocolate cake was better.

Yay…I finally got the chance to taste this handmade pudding by Sweet Montage. There were few other flavors, but I chose Salted Gula Melaka. Price at RM7.90 for a small jar… a lil pricey?? But I love everything from the packaging, the taste and the texture. Wobbly texture and wasn’t too sweet. Like a combination of custard & tau fu fah 🙂

Verdict: If you notices… I actually visited Coffee & Dreams on 2 different occasions. First round was for drinks and cakes…2nd round to sample the food. Eventually the drinks (coffee) tasted better on my 2nd visit… first visit made me felt that the coffee taste was rather mild. I hope they will be more consistent in brewing their coffee. Will definitely return for more coffee and food 😉

  1. Nice looking place. Apuuuuu…the spaghetti so expensive – doesn’t look all that great. Ya, waffle looks good…but the mille crepe, Sibu one nicer hor. Bet ours cheaper too!

    1. STP – Wahhh….so long I didn’t hear ppl saying “Apuuu” edi! It is so Sarawak style! hehe…
Ya… the spaghetti with just few slices of ham..I also thought its a lil expensive.I rather add a ringgit or two for the chicken chop.
This mille crepe…can’t recall the price..if I’m not mistaken I think its nearly RM10.

  2. Not bad not bad…. Seremban is getting pretty hip nowadays. But I seldom go back nowadays, and when I do I always go eat hawker food cos I miss it! 😀

  3. Wow! Coffee places are springing up all over Malaysia!

This looks nice, I have a friend who lives in Seremban 2, would head here if we visit! 🙂

  4. Hello, hai. Nice blog you have here. Anyway, just wondering is this cafe suitable for muslim customer?
    Thank you dear 🙂

  5. Thammelissa,

You have write great articles on food. Why not cover some property news in view of the fast pace development in N.Sembilan- especially in Seremban.

Upcoming event: N.S Home & Property Fair 17-19 Oct 2014 at Palm Mall, Seremban.

At the same time, explore the delicious food there too…

  6. The toffee nut latte was too ‘thin’. The waffle one scoop ice cream was disappointingly bad, it took 20+mins for it to come to my table. For a thin wafle like that, there is no need to be that long to prepare….C&D could have done better.

  7. Dear Melissa,
We would like to put up an invitation for yourself to visit us for a complimentary hair-do at our outlet at Palm Mall Seremban, Kemayan Square.
Kindly get in touch with me to make neccessary arrangement.
    Thank you
