We were blogsphere friends. These blogsphere friends keep in touch with each other through Facebook and Instagram. Recently, we fixed a date to meet each other for lunch!
I arrived at KL Sentral via KTM and these gals; Jennifer of “Chasing Food Dreams” and Choi Yen of “Mimi’s Dining Room” came pick me up. Since KL Sentral is quite near to Bangsar…Therefore we decided to go Bangsar Village for lunch.
We arrived Bangsar Village II at around 1pm. Jennifer suggested to go to Nutmeg. At Nutmeg, they served American, Breakfast, Brunch and Sandwiches. Upon our arrival…the place was already so crowded. Luckily there was a vacant table for us without the need to wait.
Above are some snapshots of the interior at where we seated. Nutmeg is located opposite to Zara. There’s one thing that I dislike here is that…I felt the tables arrangement are quite close to each other.
The non pictorial menu. But the kind waiter don’t mind to do the explanation & suggestion.
I ordered a Latte for RM9.
My food arrived first. I ordered “Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich” – RM24. Served with fresh salad, fried potato wedges.
The tasty and moist shredded chicken and coleslaw is sandwiched in a soft and buttery flavored bun.
I enjoyed my choice of order.
This is the scenario when you dine with food bloggers. 😀 😀
Jenn’s food came next…She ordered Southern Fried Breakfast – RM26. Served with 2 eggs (any style), southern fried chicken, biscuit, gravy & hashed potatoes.
It was quite disappointing that we felt the fried chicken and biscuit alike muffin were dry.
Choi Yen’s food came last. She ordered Baked Eggs – RM18. (2 eggs, cheese, tomato compote, brioche)
We also felt the baked eggs was dry. Probably overcooked.
Before we dug into our food…..
There were wide varieties of cakes here. Choi Yen and I couldn’t decide which to go for. Hence we chose the above slice of cake which served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, priced at RM16. It was a slice of creamy & nutty hazelnut cake. Coated with caramel and sugar glacing.
It was my pleasure meeting these ladies. And thanks for the ride. 😉
We shall meet again…..
Kindly hover over to their Facebook album to view photos of the food served here.
Cepatnya, we should arrange our next makan makan 🙂
The foods look good to me mel but is quite huge portion .
