Vietnamese Lunch @Mother Dung Restaurant, Seremban

There’s a newly opened Vietnamese restaurant located at the new shop lots at Jalan Lobak. Few doors away from the overwhelmed ‘Bak Cheok’ dim sum.

a simple and casual restaurant mend by Vietnamese serving Vietnamese food. The owner (a couple) are quite friendly.

If you have no idea what to order…they will give suggestions.

Pork Vietnam Mee Hun Soup – RM8.00

If you like a simple type of noodle…this may suits you. Jet enjoyed eating this bowl of noodle. The mee hun were not hard…he could easily chew and swallow it. (you can request for extra soup)

Banh Mi is the famous Vietnamese Baguette. You may choose your choice of filling. Ranging from Vietnamese Ham, Pork to Vegetables.

I chose Vietnamese Ham – RM9.00

Not really a wise choice. Cause I felt the filling was abit dry. Maybe I should choose BBQ Pork or Minced Pork which could be even tastier. However, the bread was nice. Crispy outside but soft inside.

Vietnam Spring Roll

I like this!! Dip it in their chili sauce…uhh la la. Every bite was flavorful. The translucent spring rolls packed with greens, coriander and tasty pork cutlets. (contains basil leaf..if you dislike the taste of basil leaf, maybe you can inform them to omit using it)

“Traditional Vietnamese cooking is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients, minimal use of dairy and oil, complementary textures, and reliance on herbs and vegetables. With the balance between fresh herbs and meats and a selective use of spices to reach a fine taste, Vietnamese food is considered one of the healthiest cuisines worldwide.”

*will revisit to try other dishes*
