Gashapon Bandai First Official Shop in IOI City Mall Putrajaya, Malaysia.

Bringing excitement to fans of Gashapon. Gashapon Bandai First Official Shop is now located at IOI City Mall Putrajaya, Malaysia – Expands in Southeast Asia.

Bandai Co., Ltd. is a Japanese multinational toy manufacturer and distributor headquartered in Taitō, Tokyo.

Gashapon (ガシャポン), also called gachapon (ガチャポン), is a trademark of Bandai. Among the variety of vending machine-dispensed capsule toys that originated in the 1960s, it became popular in Japan and elsewhere. If you travel to Japan, gashapon machine is often spotted everywhere.

This specialty store, dedicated to Bandai’s popular capsule toy brand, opened its doors on Thursday, 16th March 2023. Located at 2nd floor of Phase 2 IOI City Mall Putrajaya.

The store space of approximately 846sf.

The token changer machine accepts cash, e-wallet & credit card. If all fails…do not worry, because the staff at the counter will be able to help.

Every token is priced at RM5 each. In conjunction to the opening…. you will get a free tote bag (as shown on the photo above) with purchase of RM100. (promo valid till 19th March 2023)

Jet & I are fan of Gashapon. Hence we decided to check out this new store. We were both excited to know about its opening especially the whole store filled with gashapon machines.

Jet, to choose wisely because many seems nice and attractive, but ain’t cheap ya….I noticed mostly requires minimum 4 token onwards.

My New Toy – Instax Mini 8 by Fujifilm

Introducing my new toy – Instax Mini 8 by Fujifilm.

Been wanting to own one instant camera. Despite having my dear DSLR.

Those days, instant cameras are quite expensive. Now, they have wide range of instant cameras with fancy fancy designs at a lower price.

Alex knew I wanted it so much. Therefore he bought one for me. Yippie! Ok la..I know I hardly say ‘rou ma’ stuffs to Alex here. But thank you Darling… ♥ hehe….

Instax Mini 8 is current latest model in Malaysia. It comes in 5 different colors. What is your favorite pick? I love the pastel colors of Instax Mini 8.

The anticipation to unbox the camera! Yes…pink is my favorite pick.

All the above are included in the box. 2 xAA batteries, a pink strap, instruction manual and the camera.

Product Features:

Brightness adjustment dial
Instax mini 8 automatically determines the best brightness for taking a picture by lighting the corresponding lamp. Turn the brightness adjustment dial to the position (mark) of the lit lamp
Able to take a high-key photo easily
Setting the brightness adjustment dial to the high-key mode mark allows you to take pictures with a softer impression

In this case; the auto detected brightness is “Indoors, Night F12.7” because the lit lamp in positioned at the indoor symbol. Therefore I’ll need to turn the brightness adjustment dial to the position (mark) of the lit lamp. But if you would like to have a brighter outcome, tune it to the “Hi-Key” mode (far end). However avoid using “Hi-Key” when you shoot outdoor under a bright and sunny sky. Else your photo will turn out too white.

Uses Fujifilm Instant Color Film “instax mini”. I must say that the film price is quite pricey. We got them for an offer price. RM20/box. Each film box contain 10 pieces of credit card size film.

Ta daahh…my 1st shot of instant photo using Hello Kitty as model. HAHA!

You are not required to shake or wave the film once its released from the camera. It takes about 2 minutes for the image to be fully appear.

*Alamak* How come the image senget wan? My eyes are senget meh?

Note : Keep a distance from the subject of at least 0.6m. The flash has an effective range of between 0.6m to 2.7m.

I’ve been keeping track on Leng Yein’s FB updates. (am just a silent reader but not a stalker ^^) Knew about her ups and downs. Well…it doesn’t matter anyway…I know she is hardworking and strong. She now spent most of her money onto her new branding, which she was aiming and planned earlier.

KUMO by Leng Yein, located at Tokyo Street of Pavilion KL. Opened for business since April 2012. When I knew about it, I dragged my GFs to pay a visit. hehe….

Apparently KUMO is selling varieties of cool and funky shoe accessories for people who love to create a ‘new look’ for their shoes.

Interested on Film or Lomo? Instant photos? Or anything that has to do with funky cameras.

The *Click* Shop will be your designated place. It was first opened at SS2 since 1st April 2009. Huh….April Fool’s day? Hahaha…

At Tokyo Street, Pavilion KL is the 2nd outlet which opens on July 29, 2011.

All this while I only had a glimpse through their website. Therefore I’m very curious and anxious to take a tour there.

Kungfu Panda TUMBO

Another item added into my collection.

My recent movie on last Saturday was Fast and Furious 5 together with Alex. And also Marcus. Yea right…I know we were quite far behind from the first day of screening. Just want to conclude that it was an awesome movie which don’t get you bored….in fact…every episodes are equally good! Worth watching…Marcus said, he is going to buy the original DVD once it arrives here.

Usually we watches movie on Saturdays at TGV. And also not forgetting the sodas, chips or popcorn while watching it. While we were queuing to make our purchase, I saw this Kungfu Panda TUMBO displayed at the counter. I was so excited as in jumping for joy seeing it. I felt that its cute and special. A drink cup and a popcorn cup attached together, where you can all detach them. I insisted Alex to purchase it!! He replied with; OMG!! you are just the same like a ‘BIG KID’. Duhh…’big kid’ term for me?? Doesn’t matter anyway… *GRIN*

Nah…Kungfu Panda 2 movie is not showing yet. Purchased this Kungfu Panda TUMBO set of drink & popcorn for RM14.90. In future I can fill it with chips & soda while watching movie at home….. weeeeee….

The Proud Owner of “Ms. Whitey”

Last Friday, Ms. Whitey has finally arrived Malaysia, the day I’ve been longing for. It has been such a long wait ever since it was launched in US. Was keeping track on the updates on almost each day.

It was a happening day on every APPLE outlet! About the queues, the crowds, the number of units sold. I guess, I don’t need to explain much on the specs, you can easily refer it from Apple- iPad.

No doubt; I purposely made my way from Seremban to KL just for this. Felt its worth it though. However without the help from my friends, I wouldn’t be getting it much easier. Thank you! (not going to disclose their names here).

Since, “Angry Bird” is such a hit now, therefore I’ve downloaded it too! Quite fun too.Yeah… I don’t need to play tweety bird anymore…hahaha…

I found new love. My new collection indeed!

Was in Toy’s R Us on Saturday, where our love on first sight happens.

Was standing and admiring it for awhile. Till Alex came by…

My new CRUMPLER 5 Million Dollar Home

Yea….this year’s birthday present from Alex is a camera bag!! As I’ve wished..

I’ve wanted a CRUMPLER bag to store my camera, easier for me to carry it around. CRUMPLER is known for its trendiness & stylish designs. The only place which I can purchase it over in KL is at KLCC. Some might think that

5 Million Dollar Home might be quite small… But I think the size is good enough for me. Not too huge. If too huge, I afraid I will be lazy to carry it around. :-p Yeap, I did tried on the 6 Million Dollar Home; but I felt that it looks rather huge on me….hahaha…

Therefore I picked 5 Million Dollar Home. Which comes in 4 colors. (Black, Grey, Green & Brown). The price for this bag is RM259. Its cheaper than shashinki(an online camera shop) by RM40.

I picked the Grey one…
