I came across this promo through the Facebook page of d’Tempat Country Club.
I am a fan of Japanese food. Upon seeing such good deal, I am overwhelmed. Thus, without much hesitation, I called up to make a reservation in order to avoid disappointment. (in case of full house)

As we seated, we were given this copy of ‘made-to-order’, selection of main course which is not available at the buffet table. Each visitor is entitled for one main course, choose only 1 from the choice of 5 dishes. There were 4 of us. Therefore we were able to choose 4 types.

Grilled Salmon with Teriyaki Sauce (Shake Teriyaki)
Pan-fried salmon then glazed with a sweetened soy sauce (teriyaki).

Grilled Mackerel with Salt (Saba Shio)
This piece of grilled mackarel with salt tasted good. It was not dry nor overcooked, and the saltiness was just nice.

Fried Battered Seafood (Tempura Mori)
The tempura batter was crispy and light. Only consists of 2 prawns, a piece of mushroom and an eggplant.

Teppanyaki Style Chicken (Tori Teppanyaki)
Chicken in teppanyaki style. I felt that the chicken cutlets were too big. I preferred it to be in smaller cube, so that its easier for the meat to absorb the flavors.

For starter, there were salad with choice of dressing.

Edamame beans
Also available was Chuka Kurage (Seasoned Jellyfish) & Chuka Wakame (Seasoned Sesame Seaweed) as appetizer.
Miso Soup

Takoyaki
Round shaped, a Japanese snack made of wheat flour-based batter with a piece of octopus inside. However the filling was too little.

Move on to the sushi counter, a glimpse of the busy chef preparing sushi.

Colorful Maki-sushi (Roll Sushi)

Choice of Nigiri Sushi

My favorite Salmon Sushi.

*both Nigiri & Maki can be re-ordered.

Other than sushi, they also served fried rice. But the rice was kinda mushy I felt.

Chicken & Vegetables in Japanese Stock

As for dessert, they served slices of cakes,

cut fruits,

puddings,
japanese mochi with different fillings (red bean, peanut, black sesame, pandan). I love having Japanese mochi because I like the gooey texture.

and ice cream.

Black Sesame & Green Tea ice cream would be my favorite combination. A must have in Japanese food.
*Do take note that the desserts may varies all the time.

If you think the dishes are insufficient, here’s a list of additional add ons dishes for extra RM4 (nett) per item.

The buffet is only available on Saturday (dinner) and Sunday (lunch).
Saturday (6.30pm – 10.00pm)
Sunday (12.00pm – 3.00pm)
Although it stated “All You Can Eat Sushi”, but they served more than just sushi. Overall, I felt that paying RM38 nett for the above dishes in a Japanese restaurant is worth eating.

Last but not least, I like the gentle reminder of not to waste food. Please take food according to your needs. Do not be greedy and end up wasting food. Cheers 🙂
**latest update April 2018 – This restaurant is closed permanently.

Never expect my ‘aunty’ instinct gotten me into a free meal treat by Kc Wong! *laughs*

We sat at the sushi bar. Where you could see how the chef prepare the sushi/ sashimi. We also met a Japanese guy who sat next to us…who is also a regular customer here. He claimed that Ichiro serves fresh and authentic Japanese food & flavors. Ichiro is one of his best choice.
Ichiro serves freshly grated wasabi.

Searobin – RM24.80

Salmon Salad Roll – RM17.80
Foodie will never miss the chance in ‘foodporn’ 😀
What matters most is getting the right angle.
We ended our lunch with sweet stuffs. Desserts for sure! The double scoop ice cream comes with an affordable price tag of RM7 (Yuzu Sorbet); RM6 (Sesame). Its rich in flavors.
Persimmon Sorbet – RM5

From left:-

One of the Inaho Set that we ordered was Salmon Sashimi Set – RM22. Comes together with salad, salmon sashimi, rice and miso soup.

To end my meal, I also ordered a dessert. Ichigo Parfait (Strawberry Parfait) – RM16. made by layering whipping cream, cornflakes, strawberries in a clear glass, and topping with ice cream.
Sukishi is located next to GSC Cinema of IOI Mall, Puchong. Luckily I managed to get a table for 5. However there is a limitation on dining hour. Max. 2 hours dining time.
Our dining table with nice view. *paiseh* didn’t know there is a lake behind IOI Mall also. *tsk tsk tsk*
A simple one page menu for you to choose your choice of soup and meat. Also, in case you’ll love to add on some ala-carte dishes. I felt that the ala-carte dishes are reasonably priced.

Happy Birthday to my dearest Mummy.
