I am now listening to…”2AM Saint o’clock”

My recent music album is “2AM Saint o’clock”.

2AM is a South Korean four-member ballad boy band. Apparently, 2AM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member boy band One Day, the other being 2PM. <—- Hahaha…it sounds quite funny.

I came to know about this group over our local radio station which promoting them sometime this month. Searched their hit song from youtube. And my favorite song would be “전활 받지 않는 너에게” (You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls).

During the weekend, I took the initiative to buy their first album Saint o’Clock.

There are a total of 11 songs in an album. Alright….I started to craze about these Korean boy band now…. I told Alex; their songs are so nice…I felt so touched by their songs…

Alex replied (jealous kut); you don’t understand a single word also..how can you claimed its nice….

I answered; it doesn’t matter ma…. as long it sounded nice…… ^^

Worth the buy!! And they look quite handsome also right?? …..

They sincerely care??

I had a chat with friend A and friend B through MSN, which I did occasionally.

Unfortunately…they no longer started with “Hey..how are you doing?”..

Instead the first question that I was addressed; “So, any news from your belly?? Or, any good news from you??”

I then replied; don’t you have any better question to ask rather than each time we chat also you’ll be asking me the same old question. She replied; ‘care for you ma’…. (sorry to say, this question really annoys me and got me frustrated). It wouldn’t be nice if I say straight to her face right. I would rather her ‘care for you’ turn into something that sounds nicer…as in ‘how are you recently’? Shall we plan for a meet up?……

Trying to get myself used to it…not to put any pressure to myself either. I knew these questions would never end.

When you are in a relationship, people would be asking, “When will you be getting married?”

When you are then married, people would be asking, “When are you going to plan to have a family/ child?”

When you already have your first child, people will still be asking, “When are you planning to have your second baby?”

All these are claimed under “I care for you policy”!!!

Do you think IKEA stuff worth the buy??

Now its almost the time to furnish. Trying to get some ideas from magazines. Its all about creativity. Somehow I am doubting my creativity. =_=

Playing a role as part of the owner is important. I’m quite blank at this stage. Where am I suppose to begin? Looking through IKEA stuff online….picked some stuff that I like…. IKEA stuffs always inspired me. Not only the designers are creative, I also like that its simple yet modern looking feel. Many people been telling me that IKEA stuff are not worth the buy. Its expensive and not lasting(in term of quality I guess). But yet I still see IKEA as a crowd place. Especially during the weekends.

I spared some time and copied some pictures from IKEA online.

Kungfu Panda TUMBO

Another item added into my collection.

My recent movie on last Saturday was Fast and Furious 5 together with Alex. And also Marcus. Yea right…I know we were quite far behind from the first day of screening. Just want to conclude that it was an awesome movie which don’t get you bored….in fact…every episodes are equally good! Worth watching…Marcus said, he is going to buy the original DVD once it arrives here.

Usually we watches movie on Saturdays at TGV. And also not forgetting the sodas, chips or popcorn while watching it. While we were queuing to make our purchase, I saw this  Kungfu Panda TUMBO displayed at the counter. I was so excited as in jumping for joy seeing it. I felt that its cute and special. A drink cup and a popcorn cup attached together, where you can all detach them. I insisted Alex to purchase it!! He replied with; OMG!! you are just the same like a ‘BIG KID’. Duhh…’big kid’ term for me?? Doesn’t matter anyway… *GRIN*

Nah…Kungfu Panda 2 movie is not showing yet.  Purchased this Kungfu Panda TUMBO set of drink & popcorn for RM14.90. In future I can fill it with chips & soda while watching movie at home….. weeeeee….

Dinner @ Bar.B.Q Plaza, Sunway Pyramid

Everyone of us miss the meal here. That was because our last visit was quite sometime ago, till I’ve forgotten the exact period. Therefore in conjunction to Mother’s Day…we decided to have a dinner at Bar.B.Q Plaza, Sunway Pyramid. Bar.B.Q Plaza is a self-cooking Mongolian and Japanese style barbeque restaurant. The very first BarBQ Plaza is located at Ladprao, Thailand. However it has now expand over few places in KL. The outlets are at 1Utama Shopping Centre (1st branch), Sunway Pyramid Shopping centre, AEON Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre and Berjaya Times Square, IOI Mall Puchong & Gurney Plaza, Penang.

It was just 5+pm in the evening. Yet, its already full.

huh…another queue of the day. While lining in the queue; the waitress came passing the menu and took our orders. That may save sometime rather than me doing nothing while queuing.

Bar B Gon is the mascot of Bar B Q Plaza.

The barbeque sauce: mix together chili, squeezed lime, minced garlic and sauce (special vegetarian based sauce imported weekly from Bangkok)

Use the lard to grease the hot pan before placing all the meat and seafood for grilling.

Leave the meat to cook till it turn light brown. While placing more vegetables in the soup(around the pan) will add extra sweetness & much tastier soup.

Ready to eat

As an asian, we normally have rice in our meal. Therefore we ordered Garlic Rice – RM2.50/bowl

Supreme Seafood Set – RM35.90

(Fish Fillet, Squid, Shrimp, Chicken, Jelly Fish, Scallop, Udon, Sliced Cabbage, Baby Corn, Lettuce) – suitable for 2 pax.

Korean Pork Set (limited period only) – RM39.90

Some Banchan included in the Korean Pork Set

Marinated Pork Belly – RM6.90

Som Tam with Soft Shell Crab – RM8.90 (Its like a kerabu or Thai salad)

Chicken Wings with Lemon Grass – RM7.90

Chicken Skewers – RM6.90 (taste nice..but the meat is too hard)

The feast has begun. Everyone was busy getting their hands on the food.

A meal will not complete without a dessert.

Mango Sago – RM5 (Unfortunately it doesn’t taste that good)

Food : 4/5

Price : 3/5

Ambiance : 3/5 (I much prefer the 1Utama outlet. More comfy & spacious)

Chatime; The Premium Pearl Milk Tea

Despite the long queues and the waiting, yet it still receiving overwhelming response from patrons. What am I referring here? Its Chatime, The Premium Pearl Milk Tea which currently mushrooming in Malaysia. (my new found love)…..Chatime even planned to open total of 25 branches.

PS:- The CEO, Mr Bryan Loo is a young and good looking guy!! *uhhhh…*

As you know, Bubble Milk Tea or Pearl Milk Tea is very popular in Taiwan. (made me miss Taiwan again). To get a nice or somewhat pure one here in Malaysia is rather difficult. Thanks to Chatime for bringing in to Malaysia.

Chatime is franchised from Taiwan.

OMG!! A whole long list of flavors!! When am I able to try all?? (around 120 types)

It claimed as Premium Milk Tea. Which I do agreed.

The current number is at 6364 and my order number is 6410…Gosh..long way more. However I waited for about 30 minutes in order to get my drinks. Sound nuts right??

These were the crowds in Sunway Pyramid’s branch. I wonder will the craze be like J Co’s donuts when it 1st arrived in Malaysia??

Glass Jelly with Fresh Milk – RM5.90 (Regular)

The glass jelly or ‘leong fun’ are so smooth that it slips easily through the straw. The milk taste more like soybean.

Brewed Olong Tea – RM4.90 (Regular)

If you would like something more refreshing, this is a good choice!

Taiwan Plum Ice Tea(with pearl) – RM5.90 (Regular)

If you prefer something more appetizing, this is a good choice. Though its plum, but it ain’t too sour.

Red Bean Milk Tea – RM5.90 (Regular)

It sounded unique to me. Took the challenge and gave it a try, since its under the recommended list. Surprising the drink was good. The red bean are soft too and the milk tea taste nice.

Roasted Milk Tea (with Pearl) – RM5.90 (Regular)

I may not resist this either. Love the aroma taste of tea in this cup of drink. Oh ya..I almost forgotten to highlight that the ‘pearls’ are good. Very chewy and not too hard of course.

Chatime has now monopolized:-

– Pavilion Kuala Lumpur; 4th Floor,Connection
– Berjaya Times Square; Lower Ground
– Sunway Pyramid New Wing; First Floor, Blue Atrium
– The Gardens Mall; Lower Ground
– SStwo Mall
– SS15
– First Avenue, Penang

Dinner @ Sang Thai Seafood Restaurant, Langkawi

Eat Drink Laugh…. Another feast before we fly back to KL the following day. Yet another Thai Restaurant located in Kuah Town. Probably because Langkawi is located quite near to Thailand. Therefore they are quite influenced by their culture. This restaurant is located just next to Lgk Yummy Yummy Seafood Restaurant   which we had our dinner on the 1st night. Aparently Wonderland Seafood Restaurant which is well recommended also located on the same row. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to try, as it was closed during our visit.

Lookin through the menu, the prices are more or less the same as Lgk Yummy Yummy Seafood.

The well-lit restaurant with a bright signboard good to attracts attention.

Assorted Seafood. Order and get them cook the way u preferred (choose the cooking method from menu).

The unhappy crabs. “Hey…you better get your hands off me…grrrr..kiap kiap…kiap”

Quite crowded too…

Stir Fry Bean Sprout with Salted Fish – RM16 (L)

Started off with a not so nice dish. I would prefer if more salted fish were added in. Here I may need a magnifying glass to find the pieces of salted fish.

Belacan Kangkung – RM16 (L)

This was good. I like the belacan fragrant along with the vege.

Claypot Tofu – RM20 (L)

Prawn Salad in Spicy, Salty & Sour Taste – RM60

Wow…so many types of flavors in a plate of prawns. Must be surprising huh. Its more like the Thai Kerabu taste. I like it too. Moreover the prawns are quite big and fresh. No wonder it cost RM60 just for this. *eyes open widely*

Steamed Seabass in Teochew style – RM45 (price varies depending on type of fish and weight)

I like this fish gravy very much. I treated it like a soup. It has sourish taste from the plum & hotness from the julienne ginger.

Fried Balitung – RM20

Thai Style Chicken – RM20 (L)

Food : 3.5 /5 (pork free)

Service : 3.5/5

Ambiance : 3/5

Buffet Dinner @ Awana Porto Malai Langkawi

After spending some time at Pantai Cenang in the evening, we then headed to Awana Porto Malai Langkawi for sight seeing. This hotel certainly not strict to strangers getting into their premises. Unlike “The Datai Langkawi”, where we got questioned by the security guard before we could enter the resort. I wouldn’t blame them for the tight security. I suppose, its a luxury resort.

As I know, Awana Porto Malai Langkawi has many Yachts parked around its sea. That would make it a nice sea scenery to me.  Ooppss….I wouldn’t say sea, it should be Lagoon. Anyway, a couple of nice shots would be prefect for me. A quiet and cosy resort too. Apart from enjoying the nice view, we decided to have our dinner there at Boardwalk Cafe.

Too bad..ain’t any sunset shots here.. Perhaps, I need should a night here and wake up much earlier to view the sun rise.

The night view. The tall white tower is the light house.

Dinner @ Lgk Yummy Yummy Seafood, Langkawi

We were in Langkawi for 3 nights. We put up in a budget hotel  named AZIO located in Kuah Town, Langkawi. Though its a budget hotel, it looks entirely new and most important it is clean. With just RM98/ night, what can you expect more.

Upon checking in to our respective rooms and had a quick bath, it was already 8pm. Everyone of us got so hungry by then. (like a tiger) Wouldn’t want to waste time searching for good food; therefore we asked the hotel staff for recommendation. (yea…blame me for being lazy to do homework). The hotel staff suggested this place, Lgk Yummy Yummy Seafood. Which is just about 10 minutes drive from our hotel.

It was quite crowded. So, I assume the food must be good!

Egg with Vege – RM13 (taste normal)

Kailan with Salted Fish – RM15

Sambal Kangkung – RM15

Dried Chili  Clams – RM25 (thumbs up!)

Sambal Paste Squid – RM25

Black Pepper Venison – RM30 (thumbs up!)

Salted Egg Prawn – RM38 (recommended)

I love this dish very much. Not only the prawns are fresh, it taste good too. The salted eggs are well coated on each prawn.

Seabass Steamed with Thai Style Soup – RM40 (price varies depending on type of fish and weight)

Another good dish of the night. I assumed this may be their signature fish. Noticed that almost every table had this served on their table. Anyway, it does taste good! Especially the soup/ gravy. Sour and Spicy. *just couldn’t resist*

served with the burning coal to maintain the heat.

Initially we wanted to order some crabs. After looking at the price, we felt that its kinda overpriced – RM60/kg. Moreover the crabs that night, were pretty small.

(NOTE : All the dish above are served for 9 person)

Food : 4/5 (pork free) ~ (everyone had a wide smile on their face)

Service : 4/5

Ambiance : 3/5

Price : Affordable (depending on what you order. cross check the price list before confirming your order.)
